New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at Whiskey Bar<\/a>, 2203 Larimer Street, Denver, CO<\/a>, from now until December 11. People who donate a toy to this worthy cause will receive a free 3 Hundred Days of Shine Barrel-Aged Manhattan at Whiskey Bar.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf you don\u2019t want to bring a toy, take a screenshot of your $10 or more donation to Toys for Tots and get the free drink,\u201d said Schwab. \u201cI\u2019m appreciative of Whiskey Bar and 3 Hundred Days of Shine for bringing this toy and donation drive together for some very deserving kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

Toys for Tots<\/a>, whose mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys each holiday season and distribute them as Christmas gifts to children in need, is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, which distributes toys to children who may not otherwise receive a gift for Christmas. Toys for Tots plays an active role in developing one of our nation\u2019s most valuable resources, its children.<\/p>\n

It also unites members of local communities in a common cause each year during its annual toy collection and distribution campaign. Toys for Tots was founded in 1947, and since its inception, the Marines have distributed over 530,000,000 toys to more than 244,000,000 children across the United States.<\/p>\n
