Compass<\/a><\/strong>\u2019 Texas<\/a> operation just got stronger. The Robert Reffkin<\/a>-helmed firm has acquired Realty Austin<\/strong> and its San Antonio<\/a> satellite Realty San Antonio<\/strong>, according to an announcement on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith this acquisition, we’ve positioned ourselves as Austin’s leading brokerage\u2014our commitment to setting new standards and inspiring innovation for all our exceptional agents remains the top priority while honoring what Realty Austin and Realty San Antonio has built,\u201d Rachel Hocevar, the president of Compass Texas, said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Austin-based<\/a> independent brokerage was part of the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World<\/strong> network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023, Realty Austin ranked No. 45<\/a> in the RealTrends 500<\/a><\/strong> by sales volume, after recording $5.239 billion in sale volume and 8,264 transaction sides in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the merger, Realty Austin and Realty San Antonio are bringing over 630 agents into the Compass fold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our agents have consistently set records with remarkable achievements,” Gabe Richter, the CEO of Realty Austin and Realty San Antonio, said in a statement. “Now, by aligning with Compass, they gain access to a transformative technology platform that enhances efficiency and elevated resources that empower them to secure even more luxury listings.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Realty Austin and Realty San Antonio\u2019s local leaders will continue to maintain direct oversight of the day-to-day operations of the firm\u2019s agents and staff as they integrate into the Compass ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We’ll be here every step of the way to ensure a seamless transition that respects our unique brand and thriving culture we have built,\u201d Yvette Flores, the co-founder of Realty Austin and Realty San Antonio, said in a statement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
