The firm, which touts itself as the nation\u2019s largest lake-focused <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.housingwire.com\/housing-market\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">real estate brokerage<\/a>, has moved into a new office space and hired two new executives to fill growth-related roles, according to an announcement on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In late March, the firm doubled its office square footage by moving into a new headquarters in Hoover, Alabama, just south of Birmingham, along with <strong>RealSource <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.housingwire.com\/category\/title-escrow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Title Insurance<\/a> and Real Estate Closings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOver the past 12 months, our space has transformed dramatically and is a great environment for our employees, clients, and guests,\u201d said Glenn S. Phillips, the CEO of Lake Homes Realty. \u201cAs Lake Homes Realty and RealSource continue to grow, we will have space to accommodate our workforce. We are also excited to be part of Hoover\u2019s expanding technology corridor along Highway 280.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the new office, the firm has hired Joe Gaeta as director of strategic growth and Kiki Wanshura as director of market acceleration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHaving worked at a variety of real estate companies, I continue to be incredibly impressed with the tools, technology, and valuable analytics that Lake Homes Realty offers that are unique to the industry,\u201d \u00a0Wanshura said in a statement. \u201cI want to continue my career with a company like Lakes Homes Realty &#8211; a progressive company that is making a positive impact in the real estate industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gaeta, who has more than 24 years of real estate industry experience, is making the move from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.housingwire.com\/tag\/zillow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zillow<\/a><\/strong>, where he served as the director of broker relations. Wanshura, who also has over two decades of experience in the industry, is coming over from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.housingwire.com\/articles\/pacasos-plans-to-democratize-second-home-ownership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pacaso<\/a><\/strong>, where she has served on the firm\u2019s industry relations team for the past two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both Gaeta and Wanshura will be working with Heather Glass, another former Zillow executive. Glass joined Lake Homes Realty in 2020 and was recently names Lake Homes Realty\u2019s national director of development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe leadership and the entire Lake Homes Realty family is set up to make our agents successful,\u201d Glass said in a statement. \u201cJoe, Kiki, and I will show lake real estate agents how to differentiate themselves from the competition.
