Grady Ligon is the latest member of <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.realtrends.com\/blog\/articles\/re-max-banks-on-strategic-growth-initiatives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RE\/MAX\u2019s<\/a> C-Suite, being named the firm\u2019s chief information officer, according to an announcement on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As CIO, Ligon will lead the technology and data strategy for the company and its franchise brands, <strong>RE\/MAX<\/strong> and <strong>Motto Mortgage<\/strong>. In addition, he will oversee the product, engineering, technology security and compliance, and data functions, as well as lead the rollout of <strong>MAX\/Tech<\/strong> powered by <strong>kvCORE<\/strong>, the all-new tech platform for the RE\/MAX network, which is scheduled for 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ligon has more than 20 years of experience in technology and data leadership. Most recently he has served as CIO for <strong>Fathom Realty<\/strong> and <strong>IntelliAgent, LLC<\/strong>, after serving as CIO at <strong>Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices<\/strong> for six years, and at <strong>Prudential Real Estate Services<\/strong> and <strong>Prudential Real Estate &amp; Relocation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited to help develop a comprehensive tech strategy closely aligned with our business strategy across these leading brands,\u201d Ligon said in a statement. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot to like about the foundation already in place, and I believe we can build an even greater technology edge with even more value for all stakeholders.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to entering the brokerage world, Ligon served as vice president, investment bank technology at <strong>JPMorgan<\/strong> <strong>Chase<\/strong> and owned an independent consulting operation focused on digital and cloud transformations called <strong>Safis Digital<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHis vast experience and track record make him the ideal leader to continue the technology evolution happening within our brands,\u201d Steve Joyce, the CEO of RE\/MAX Holdings, said of Ligon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ligon\u2019s hire comes at a time when RE\/MAX is reinvesting in the tech offerings it provides agents.
