Wood Properties<\/strong>, one of the nation&#8217;s top independent brokerages, is joining the <strong>Christie\u2019s International Real Estate<\/strong> network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Christie\u2019s network is by invitation only and this addition marks the brand&#8217;s entrance into Southwest Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The brokerage will continue to be owned by the Wood family who founded the brokerage in 1958. In addition, Phil Wood will remain the firm\u2019s CEO and president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHome buyers and sellers in Lee and Collier counties have entrusted John R. Wood with their real estate needs for more than 60 years thanks to our legendary service and local knowledge,\u201d Phil Wood said in a statement. \u201cAffiliating with Christie\u2019s International Real Estate \u2013 a brand synonymous with luxury around the world \u2013 not only gives our clients global visibility and market access, but also enables our agents to tap into the industry\u2019s best marketing and technology.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The newly renamed <strong>John R. Wood Properties\/Christie\u2019s International Real Estate<\/strong> has more than 700 agents in 21 offices serving Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Marco Island, and the greater Fort Myers area including Captiva Island, Sanibel Island and Pine Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe evolution of this area into an international luxury destination mirrors John R. Wood\u2019s own growth and evolution.
