Board member Joe DeSplinter informed the director of the board last Tuesday that he intends to retire from the board prior to the completion of his current term, which is schedule to end at RE\/MAX\u2019s 2023 annual meeting of stockholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.realtrends.com\/blog\/articles\/re-max-banks-on-strategic-growth-initiatives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RE\/MAX<\/a> said that DeSplinter\u2019s retirement is not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company\u2019s operations, policies, or practices. The firm publicly announced DeSplinter\u2019s decision in a <a href=\"https:\/\/sec.report\/Document\/0001104659-22-099285\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">document filed<\/a> with the <strong>Securities and Exchange Commission<\/strong> Monday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After nearly four decades with multinational professional services partnership firm <strong>Ernst &amp; Young<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/news.remax.com\/bio\/joseph-desplinter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DeSplinter<\/a> retired in 2014, leaving his position as the firm\u2019s professional practice director of private equity. In addition to his position on the board at RE\/MAX, DeSplinter has also served on the boards of <strong>Adolfson &amp; Peterson Construction <\/strong>and the <strong>Catholic Foundation of Northern Colorado<\/strong>. He holds a Certified Public Accountant license in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois and New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJoe has made invaluable contributions to RE\/MAX Holdings during his time serving on the Board of Directors.
