{"id":3157,"date":"2022-05-25T17:15:17","date_gmt":"2022-05-25T17:15:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/preprod.realtrends.com\/blog\/2022\/05\/25\/keller-williams-impact-real-estate-team-joins-exp\/"},"modified":"2025-03-13T02:43:11","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T02:43:11","slug":"keller-williams-impact-real-estate-team-joins-exp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/preprod.realtrends.com\/blog\/2022\/05\/25\/keller-williams-impact-real-estate-team-joins-exp\/","title":{"rendered":"Arizona real estate mega team leaves Keller Williams for eXp"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Top performing Mesa, Arizona-based <strong>Impact Real Estate Team <\/strong>is making the leap from <strong>Keller Williams <\/strong>to <strong>eXp Realty<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team of roughly 50 agents was the <a href=\"https:\/\/www1.realtrends.com\/best-real-estate-agents-arizona\/teams-mega-volume\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">No. 16 ranked mega team<\/a> in Arizona in 2021, according to <strong>RealTrends <\/strong>data<strong>,<\/strong> recording nearly $64 million in sales volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Chick and Jeremy Fuhst are Impact Real Estate\u2019s team leaders and founders. According to a news release, both Chick and Fuhst rank in the top 20 out of more than 35,000 agents in the <strong>Arizona Regional MLS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The eXp model allows us to partner with team owners and agents we would have never had the opportunity to partner with otherwise,\u201d Fred Weaver, a co-leader of eXp\u2019s Group 4610 Network, said in a statement. \u201cPartnering with Matt, Jeremy and the Impact team is something I could not be more excited about. What they have built in the short time their team has been around is nothing short of spectacular.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team\u2019s move appears to be the latest chapter in an ongoing battle between Keller Williams and eXp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this year, eXp named former Keller Williams CEO <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.realtrends.com\/blog\/articles\/why-mark-willis-isnt-free-to-join-exp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mark Willis<\/a> to an executive role at the brokerage. In February, however, a judge in Austin, Texas issued a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.realtrends.com\/blog\/court-blocks-ex-keller-ceo-from-joining-exp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">restraining order<\/a>&nbsp;against Willis, preventing him from joining eXp Realty or doing business with any real estate brokerage in the United States or Canada seen as direct competition to Keller Williams because Willis holds shares in three Keller Williams franchises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In legal filings, Keller Williams claimed Willis&#8217; ownership position gave him unfettered access to information provided to Keller Williams franchise owners, from granular financial metrics and client leads to overall business strategy.
