The transcript below has been lightly edited for length and clarity:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jennings:<\/strong> I had been rebuilding and growing my team for about six or seven years. And I was finding the limits of the traditional real estate team model. Consumers are looking for that 24\/7, on-demand experience that a solo agent can&#8217;t provide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the beginning, with a small real estate team of just a couple people, you&#8217;re a real estate team leader. And typically, your situation is you&#8217;ve created more business than you can handle. You need more help. You&#8217;ve pulled together, what you feel like is a group of good agents, but without a really clear plan systems and support to keep growing, we find a lot of people will get stuck at that small team stage where it could be anywhere from 25 to 60 transactions a year, they&#8217;ve got two or three agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it&#8217;s challenging to get beyond that because you&#8217;ve got to put systems in place and the key hire at that stage is a really good admin. Now, I think one of the mistakes that emerging team leaders make at that stage is they, I&#8217;ll use the word cheap out, on hiring the right person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><meta charset=\"utf-8\"><em>RealTrending features the brightest minds in real estate.
