It&#8217;s gone relatively mainstream. In just the past few weeks, nonbank mortgage lenders <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.housingwire.com\/articles\/rocket-announces-discount-real-estate-brokerage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rocket Companies<\/a><\/strong> and <strong>Better.com<\/strong> have <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.housingwire.com\/articles\/better-expands-real-estate-explores-ibuying\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">revealed plans<\/a> to instantly buy homes from their customers and also pair their services with in-house real estate agents. And then there&#8217;s <strong>KWx<\/strong>, the parent company of residential brokerage <strong>Keller Williams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Texas-headquartered franchise behemoth says its &#8220;agent-centric&#8221; iBuyer model, known as Keller Offers, is genuinely different than its <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.realtrends.com\/blog\/can-better-compete-on-the-real-estate-stage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">competitors<\/a>: theirs is the only one that has a fiduciary duty to its agents&#8217; clients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company recently hired Raymond &#8220;RJ&#8221; Jones to lead its iBuying program as well as Keller Manage, a new service for home maintenance, renovations and moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jones, who joins after a stint at real estate coaching company <strong>Ferry International<\/strong> and executive positions at <strong>eXp World Holdings<\/strong> and <strong>Zillow<\/strong>, said Keller Williams&#8217; iBuying service is positioned at agents whose clients who are looking to sell quickly and want the certainty that iBuying brings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, the program, <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.housingwire.com\/articles\/48850-keller-williams-to-begin-buying-and-selling-houses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">initially launched in 2019<\/a>, is in 49 markets.
