{"id":1683,"date":"2018-04-11T10:46:00","date_gmt":"2018-04-11T10:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/preprod.realtrends.com\/blog\/2018\/04\/11\/daniele-yeonas\/"},"modified":"2025-03-13T02:29:25","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T02:29:25","slug":"daniele-yeonas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/preprod.realtrends.com\/blog\/2018\/04\/11\/daniele-yeonas\/","title":{"rendered":"The Real Estate &#8216;Doctor,&#8217; Daniele Yeonas Is In!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><strong>She\u2019s a &#8216;Doctor&#8217; on Call: Virginia Agent Helps Buyers Navigate the Seller\u2019s Market <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><i>Using prompts like, \u201cIf you see something you like, we need to go <\/i><span class=\"s1\"><i>right now<\/i><\/span><i>,\u201d Daniele Yeonas is helping buyers navigate one of the most difficult seller\u2019s markets she\u2019s ever seen. <\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">When <a href=\"https:\/\/lexlianos.com\/about\/Daniele-Yeonas\/3567\">Daniele Yeonas<\/a> wrote six different contracts during a 10-day span in early-April, she thought that at least <span class=\"s1\">a few<\/span> of those contracts would get to the closing table. \u201cNone of them worked out, and mainly due to the multiple offerings on the properties that my buyers were interested in,\u201d says this REALTOR with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lexlianos.com\/\">Lex Lianos &amp; Associates Team of Weichert, REALTORS<\/a>\u00ae in Vienna, Va.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">And because few (if any) of Yeonas\u2019 first-time homebuyer clients are interested in waiving home inspections or other contingencies, many of them are facing steep challenges in the seller\u2019s market that\u2019s overtaken this agent\u2019s hometown.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cIt\u2019s great on the selling side,\u201d she says, \u201cbut on the buyer side, this is the toughest market I\u2019ve ever experienced.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Doctor on Call <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">To help manage her buyers\u2019 expectations and get them into their desired homes, Yeonas says she tells them to stay alert to new listings (which, in many cases, go under contract within hours of being put on the market) and to be willing to make a move quickly, if warranted.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39402 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/preprod.realtrends.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/01\/IMG_0723.jpeg\" alt=\"Daniele Yeonas\" width=\"240\" height=\"240\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201c\u2019Look, if you see a house that you like, we\u2019ve got to go right now,\u2019 I tell them,\u201d says Yeonas, who also educates buyers on the possibility of having to waive an inspection or a contingency in order to get their deals closed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cI\u2019m like a doctor on call,\u201d she says. \u201cI have to literally drop everything, show them the house, and write a contract without wasting any time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>A Family Affair <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Licensed since 2009, Yeonas comes from a family of real estate professionals who made names for themselves as agents, developers, and commercial real estate attorneys.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>&#8220;My grandfather and his two brothers developed and sold a large portion of Vienna and other areas of Northern Virginia,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cMy mother and uncle are both real estate agents and my father is currently a commercial real estate attorney, so I truly grew up in the business. I started right after college and immediately fell in love with everything about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Don\u2019t Let it Get You Down <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Lex Lianos &amp; Associates Team comprises five agents, a transaction coordinator, and a sign runner\u2014all of whom focus on their respective niches within the Northern Virginia real estate market. \u201cWe\u2019re also there for one another for support when we need it, so it\u2019s great,\u201d says Yeonas, whose team prioritizes \u201cgiving back\u201d as much as possible and has supported the Red Cross (through donations and volunteering) in its efforts to bring hurricane relief to victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Maria.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Yeonas, who plans to start a family in the near future, sees more of the same in her future over the next year or two, business-wise.
